Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel! The room was incredibly comfortable with a king-sized bed, the largest we've had on our trip so far, and it was spotlessly clean. The service was fantastic, despite a slight delay in checking in due to a group of walkers. The location was excellent for exploring the Scottish Borders, close to Kelso, amongst beautiful rolling hills. The dining experience was a bit too late for us, but the food was lovely overall. The facilities were great too.
Starting with a promising upgrade and enjoying the clean and bright room in a pretty village setting made for a sweet stay. However, there was a slight hiccup on the room type request. The hotel seemed freshly upgraded and was spacious and bright.
I had a delightful stay at the country inn. The rooms were small but comfortable enough, tucked away at the back of the hotel. The service was fantastic, especially with Kerry and the staff being so welcoming. The location offered stunning views and was perfect for exploring the Scottish Borders. The dining experience was lovely, and the facilities added to the overall pleasant stay.
